Crazy CAT

On February 21, 1989, Yusuf Islam addressed students at Kingston University in London about his journey to Islam and was asked about the controversy in the Muslim world and the fatwa calling for Salman Rushdie’s execution. He replied, “He must be killed. The Qur’an makes it clear - if someone defames the prophet, then he must die.” Newspapers quickly denounced what was seen as Yusuf Islam’s support for the assassination of Rushdie and the next day Yusuf released a statement saying that he was not personally encouraging anybody to be a vigilante, and that he was only stating that blasphemy is a capital offense according to the Qur’an. However, on March 8, 1989, while speaking in London’s Regents Park Mosque, Yusuf Islam was asked by a Christian Science Monitor reporter how he would cope with the idea of killing a writer for writing a book. He is reported to have replied, “In Islam there is a line between, lets say freedom and the line which is then transgressed into immorality and irresponsibility and I think as far as this writer is concerned, unfortunately, he has been irresponsible with his freedom of speech. Salman Rushdie or indeed any writer who abuses the prophet, or indeed any prophet, under Islamic law, the sentence for that is actually death. It’s got to be seen as a deterrent, so that other people should not commit the same mistake again.” Two months later Yusuf Islam appeared on a British television court-room style program, Hypotheticals. In the episode, A SATANIC SCENARIO, Stevens/Islam is videoed having this exchange with the moderator and Queen Counsel Geoffrey Robertson . . .

The Video THAT CRAZY CAT just doesn't want you to see with your own eyes.

Cat Stevens is dead, Islam killed him off looong ago. You can pick up pamphlets in Mosques all across the U.S. promoting "Yusef Islam's" story of why he converted to Islam in his own words. It's the typical Islamic Cult ploy. Yusef Islam, formerly known as CAT STEVENS isn't on the SUSPECT list for nothing. The man is an Islamic tool for conversion and has been a willing propagandist, Jihad funder and will therefore remain one shady CAT.

Dear Sir,

It's a shame why you should label Brother Yusuf Islam "an Islamic tool for conversion and has been a willing propagandist, Jihad funder...".

As if you are against his freedom to choose his own religion and his freedom to submit to his own God. Is this what your own Bible teaches you? Hate against humans who do not share the same religion as you? Seriously, you do not know the history of Jerussalem during when it was under the rule of Islamic power. The Jews, Christians and Muslims all lived in peace in Jerussalem during that era.

Just like in Christianity, Blasphemy is a serious offense in Islam. Mocking the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is not something that a Muslim should tolerate. How would you, as a Christian, feel if I, a Muslim, were to mock your God, Jesus, and call him a human?

The true fact is, we Muslims believe in your Jesus, but not as God. He was indeed very special, being born without a Father. That shows how great God is at creating something out of nothing. Jesus can't create something out of nothing, for he is just a human being just like you and me. For he was also created by the God of Abraham, David, Moses and Muhammad.

You reason about what Brother Yusuf says based on your own logic thinking, not based on what Islam teaches. Islam forbids a Muslim to associate the one true God with any idol. There is only one God that governs all things in this universe and beyond that. A Muslim has his/her own freedom, but just like Brother Yusuf says, a Muslim should not abuse that freedom and mock God and the Prophet as he/she pleases. Now that is against Islam. I'm sure in Christianity, it goes the same thing as well. Am I not correct?

For your knowledge, Jihad does not directly translates to mean "Holy War". The Crusaders were the ones who created the word "Holy War" just to relate it to Jihad. Jihad has a broader meaning in Islam. Jihad covers all aspects in life, from your personal improvement, the welfare of your family and also the welfare of your community and your state. That is the true meaning of Jihad in Islam, not "Holy War".

You look down on Muslims, but you need to know this...the great Muslims were the ones who had created the numbering concept of "0" and "1" that made it possible for humans today to build computers and the internet. Avicenna's (Ibn Sina) knowledge in medicine has and still being referred to by schools of medicine all over the world. Avicenna is highly respected in the West. Muslims had already travelled the world, before Columbus even founded America (by mistake) for he didn't quite know how to read the maps created by Muslims. Muslims perfected the knowledge they gain from the Greeks and Persians and other civilizations that came before them and created new technology from those knowledge. Muslims were the ones responsible to map down the path to modern civilization.

The Quran is not just a book of religious conduct. It is also a book of science that explains how life started in the womb and how the universe is made up, and other scientific explanation are there in the Quran.

Here's a muslim saying Jesus was just a man. As a Christian, I am supposed to accept that.

Yet if I was to (hypothetically) say "Moe was a child-molester" -- a fact which is well documented in this man's so-called "holy book" -- he'd be gunning for my head.

Lich: Did you not watch the video? Choose whatever cu... er ... RELIGION you like, but don't think you have the right to enforce your beliefs on everyone else.

This is the US. I have the right to say anything I want, about pretty much anything.

If I mock your "prophet", that is my right. It is also your right to mock mine. Mock on. Please. Help yourself. Please do so publicly.

Then watch what happens. You won't see Christians attacking embassies and threatening world-wide violence. We outgrew that sort of nonsense several centuries ago.

Yes -- the muslim world was ahead of "the west" ~500 years ago, and for the most part hasn't changed since, except for becoming more violent than ever. This is exactly the point.

GROW UP. Stop having temper-tantrums every time someone calls you a doo-doo head or makes fun of whatever.

Stop acting like spoiled children, and the rest of us won't care what you do.

PS: Disagree with me all you want, but be warned that any attempt to enforce your beliefs against me or mine will be met with overwhelming, deadly force.

Dear Brother Dedicated_Dad,

I quote from you:
"You won't see Christians attacking embassies and threatening world-wide violence. We outgrew that sort of nonsense several centuries ago."

Oh really? Did you really outgrew that several centuries ago?

My humble question:
1) What do you call those invasion on Iraq by the Christian army of America?
2) What do you call those execution by the Christian army of Germans over the Jews?

If you ask me, I would say those are world violence done. Centuries ago? Think again brother...don't be such an ego.
